Thoughts

Today was such a sad day as we said good by to such a dear friend. I was fine all through the service, but then, a thought came to me. I am 75 years old Mary and John, my best friends. As we said "goodbye" it suddenly hit me. I was saying goodbye to a person who was my mum. Not in reality, but this 75 year old felt so loved by Mary, she was like a mum. How I praise God for all she was to me. Lots of tears.

God lookedaround his garden and found an empty place,He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest, Gods garden must be beautiful He only takes the best. He didn't want you to suffer, he didn't want you to have pain, He knew that you would never get well on earth again. It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home. Love you Mum always and forever Hannah xx

Mary will always be in our hearts. She was a very special friend. Mary was the person to go to, if you didn't understand a knitting pattern or needed a certain colour silk for cross stitch or needed a particular size knitting needle. I miss her so much. Mary enjoyed film nights at our home, BBQ's, anything to do with food. Mary made us laugh and was full of fun. One of the times when we visited her in hospital, she said 'I can still be naughty' just loved her sense of humour. Heaven has gained a very special lady.
